Year 3 Admissions

Children born from 1st September 2017 and 31st August 2018, who attend an Infant school, will need to apply for a Year 3 Junior place in a Junior or Primary school for September 2025. This does not apply to children who attend a Primary School unless their parent/carer wants to change their child's school for September 2025.

National closing date for on time Junior applications:15th January 2025.

National offer date for on time Junior applications 16th April 2025.

All Junior School (or Year 3 applications for 2025 entry must be made through the family's home local authority.

Remember, parents/carers with children on roll in a Year 2 class of an Infant School must apply for a Junior place in a school, even if the child:

• Has a brother or sister who is attending this school.
