Free School Meals

Since September 2013 St. Joseph's Infants' and Junior have been offering free school meals to ALL children at our schools. The Council's Free Health School Meals (FHSM) programme has been a universal offer and council commitment for all primary school children in Key Stage 2, supplementing the central government funded, means-tested Free School Meals and Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM).

This provides families a saving of £536 per child per year and over £2,000 for any child's time with us from Reception to Year 6.

Although all children attending St. Joseph's Infants' and Junior Schools benefit from our free school meal offer, we ask that all families who receive benefits and are eligible to receive Free School Meals from Southwark Council, should collect a form from the school office.
